Here are some styles that I’ve been lusting over lately. Blond envy much? I wish I actually started to do more of these hair styles on my own. I always seem to think to after I’ve left the house.

I don’t have much of a formal thought process right now, as I’m in the middle of finals — trying to build an app and a direct mailing piece…this weekend. yikes. Here are some nice things that are floating in my head. And that dress is SO MINE thanks to a certain someone :) Oh, and a mint flavored swiss army knife exists. Yep.

With my blessing (not so much) of abnormally thin hair, it’s almost impossible for me to get this kind of volume. The sock bun is my savior. I discovered this from various you tube videos last year, and I’ve been loving it since! Check out this one, for example. Also, google sock bun and have your pickings.

I know what you’re thinking. “Kelsey, please stop with this gold thing, I’ve had enough, and I think you have too…wait, no, I haven’t had enough, never mind..,,sparrkklleessss.” Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing. Now worries. Here is my most recent nail colorings. Lots and lots of tiny gold sparkles. GOLD. SPARKLES. YES!

Polish: Sephora by OPI, Wild About Shimmer

I did about 5 coats over the course of 3 days. I hate when polish doesn’t dry completely, so it always takes me a ridiculous amount of time to finish a manicure. This polish is especially sheer too, so it took more coats than usual.

I have holidays on the brain again. Last class of the quarter today at 5PM, then…break! As you can see, I also have stripes on the brain, but I don’t know when that isn’t happening. This is another mother-inherited obsession of mine. Stripey stripe stripe stripe. <3.

The type on this holiday card is also out of control. I need to diligently practice my calligraphy skills over break to get as good at this one day.

Since adventuring all over the land of Pinterest, I’ve come across so many inspiring manicures. When I have the time, guess what I’ll be doing?? These are just a few of my favorites.

Going through all the costumes that have been popping up on  Facebook over the weekend, I’ve been so impressed with people’s creative use of face paint this year. I don’t know if I’ve just never really paid attention to it before, but it seemed like so many people were creating works of art on their faces. Props to all those skilled face painting artists, and the guys and gals who braved Halloween with these amazing faces.

Here I’ve found a slightly less painted face, but a beautiful costume none the less. Hope you enjoy this Halloween inspired color study.
